BLOG #12!!

*Have you met anyone new who is important to you? Have you rekindled any old friendships that have made you stronger?
I haven't actually made super, awesome, close friends with anyone in the class, but that definitely doesn't mean that i dont consider them my freinds. I talk to all of them whenever I see them. I love meeting new people and hanging out with a variety of different people. So yes, I would say that everyone I met in UN 100 is important to me. Also, meeting Alyssa and Becca (my suitemates) was just an awesome experience. Those two mean so much to me, and I would have struggled big time if i didn't have them.
I always talked to my cousin Chris, but now that we are at the same school, I see him almost every single day. I stop by and visit him or visit him almost every day, and then on the weekends we either ride home together, or I go hang out with him, alyssa, and his friends.

*Have you experienced any major changes academically or personally?
Academically I am definitely working harder than I did in high school. I think i have developed a few better study habits as well. Personally, i think i am the same bubbly, smiley Ashley that I was in high school. :)

*What is your one BEST or FAVORITE memory of this semester?
I think my favorite memory would have to be ..... okay this is a hard question. To be honest I can't think of anything specific at the moment, but i will say that the night of the Brule Run, Alyssa and I were getting ready to head over the the courtyard and we were just having the best time ever. It was such a fun and giggly couple hours and it was just so much fun.

WOAH i just thought of one!!! One night i went over to my friend Nick and Jakes room just to visit them while i was eating my spaghetti o's. We started talking about the black light they had just bought when the subject of detergent came up. Supposably it glows really well in the black light. Without even saying ne thing... Nick got up, grabbed detergent, a plate, and a paint brush and painted a smiley face on the wall. It was all downhill from there. The walls were covered, along with our faces, arms, and the boys' bodies (dont ask lol). It was the most fun I've ever had. I took a walk over to VanAntwerp to convince Chris to turn his black light on... to surprise everyone when i lit up the room. hahaha it was so funny... other than the fact that i had to wash my body 3 times that night to get "MOST" of it off. For the next 24 hours my face felt like it was on fire and my lip was swollen. But it was all worth it!

*How will you live your life to the fullest?
In order to live my life to the fullest, I am definitely going to make sure that right now I work hard to achieve the best grades I can. These couple of years will affect the rest of my life. Also, these are goin to be the best years of my life, so I am goin to make sure i meet as many people as possible, and get involved in as many activities as possible.
Just as long as I have a happy, healthy family, put faith in what i truley believe, and do everything to the best of my ability... i think i'm set to go. :)
